The hypothesis index, which measures the share of other cryptocurrencies (altcoins) with 90-day returns higher than bitcoin, has stabilized under 10%, down considerably from the January excessive of practically 60%. Bitcoin, the main cryptocurrency by market, hit new document highs above $70,000 within the first quarter and has since cooled to $58,000.
